Gopinath Munde Stays in BJP - Party Elated

New Delhi, Jun 22: The Maharashtra BJP unit on Wednesday June 22 heaved a sigh of relief with disgruntled senior leader Gopinath Munde confirming his loyalty to his party.

Welcoming the decision, leader of the opposition in the state legislative assembly Eknath Khadse said that Munde had devoted his efforts and time in building the party in the state and would not have left it so easily.

Top BJP leaders including Sushma Swaraj gave Munde a patient listening on June 22 and were able to convince him to stay in the party, he said.

Khadse also rubbished media reports about Munde's possible switchover to Congress.

Speaking to reporters, Maharashtra BJP leader Gopinath Munde on Wednesday, said, "I am a part of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and will remain here forever. I will never leave BJP at any cost," asserted

"There are rumours that I am leaving BJP, which is not true."

On a query as to why he met Ahmed Patel, the Congress leader in the capital, Munde denied any such meeting. I have never in my life met Patel, he said.

    Mr. Kevin Dias, this is not just a problem of BJP. Every political party has this problem. 90% of the politicians are like this. They don't have vision/will to work for the country. Only aim they have is to increase their family assets.

    Gopinath Munde, What has one to know more about him, these netas are only there for power, nothing more then that. Yes if late Pramod Mahajan was there it would be a different story. Gopinath or for that matter, who can we all talk or trust in the BJP today, they will sell this country, as between them there is no peace and unity, So how does one expect to vote or trust the BJP.

    Coming to Mr. Gopinath , he needs head weight, and his issue is Nitin Gadkari another man who does not know what he speaks. So if Gopinath consider's to be with the party is because, he was not assured any berth by the congress, NCP does not need him, So its better to be in the frying pan then jumping into the fire.Besides Maharashtra or part of it , who is aware of him and think that he is one big leader ?
