Mumbai, June 22 (IANS) Construction and engineering major Larsen and Toubro Wednesday said its construction division has bagged orders worth Rs.4,100 crore (about $900 million) during the first quarter of the current financial year.
"The orders are for construction of airport, hospital and commercial and residential buildings," the company said in a regulatory filing.
On the commercial buildings and airport business, the company has secured orders worth Rs.1,638 crore. This includes design and construction of airport terminal expansion, hospital and medical college and other commercial buildings.
It has also secured orders worth Rs.2,051 crore for the construction of residential towers while the company's business of construction of factories has secured orders worth Rs.411 crore.
