Jabalpur, Jun 22: Congress leader Digvijjay Singh has warned that Anna Hazare's proposed fast on August 16 may end up like Baba Ramdev's at Ramlila grounds in New Delhi, depending on the situation.
Without directly threatening a crackdown on the proposed fast, Singh said that the 'same treatment' would be given to Hazare, if the situation demands.
He also said the government was accountable not to Anna or his team, but to the people of the country.
Hazare was being flattered by his young supporters who are urging him to fast without going on a fast themselves, and without showing any consideration for his age, he said.
