Dubai: Kannada Mitra-2023 – Nominations for international award invited

Dubai, Mar 27: Kannada Patha Shale Dubai is the world’s biggest FREE Kannada language teaching school for NRIs with over 600 students learning the native organized by Kannada Mitraru UAE.

It is a community service initiative done voluntarily by 20 teachers and 60 volunteers with the policy of no-pay to anyone, this school run by its president Shashidhar Nagarajappa and his team is well supported by JSS School Dubai, Bilva School Dubai and Karnataka NRI forum, Karnataka Sangha Dubai and all the Karnataka state organizing of UAE.

The service motto is to make Kannadiga NRI children literates in Kannada language and induce the cultural value of their native land. This school have been educating the children of UAE since 2014.

In continuation of encouragement to Kannada and culture, Kannada Mitraru U.A.E bestows 'Kannada Mitra' award to the individual who has contributed significantly to the Kannada language in various fields , this award is one of most popular international awards being given in Dubai at their annual event every year. This year’s selected award winner will be invited to their 9th year valedictory event to be held on April 29 award consists of return air ticket, accommodation and award money of Rs 25,000. 

Kannada Mitraru UAE management committee has request for the nomination from the individuals with significant contribution to Kannada language.
