Tiruchirappalli, Jun 24: The income tax department quizzed the relatives of 2G scam-tainted former union telecom minister A Raja on Friday June 24.

Raja is currently serving a term for his role in the scam at Delhi's Tihar jail.

The income tax officials questioned Raja's wife Parameshwari, brother A Ramachandran, brother-in law and another relative for over three hours, however, no details were divulged to the media.

The IT Dept is also probing a trust registered in the name of Raja's parents and his links with Green House Promoters.

As part of the investigations, the CBI had earlier conducted search operations at the premises of Raja's relatives in Perambalur.
