Mangaluru: National level techno cultural fest 'TIARA 2023' successfully concludes at SJEC

Mangaluru, Mar 29: TIARA 2023, the three-day techno cultural fest organized by St Joseph Engineering College (SJEC) was successfully concluded on March 25 at the college basketball court with colourful award ceremony followed by DJ Night by popular DJ TNO Abhishek.

Fr Wilfred Prakash D’Souza, director of SJEC, Fr Alwyn Richard D’Souza, assistant director, Dr Rio D’Souza, principal of SJEC, Dr Purushothama Chippar, vice principal and Rakesh Lobo, HR manager of the college were presentduring the valedictory programme on March 25 along with the staff conveners of the fest, Poornesh M and Chaitra U R. The student conveners of the event, Vivek M and Pragnya Nagure were also present on the occasion.

The three-day fest witnessed participation of students from across the region in a series of technical, non-technical as well as cultural events displaying their skills and competencies. Apart from the techno-cultural events, the major attractions of the fest included the Battle of Bands on the first day, the cultural program and the award ceremony on the third day.

The prizes and trophies for all the events held over the 3 days of the fest were given away during the award ceremony. NMAMIT, Nitte bagged the overall championship in the Engineering category while Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management was awarded as the overall runners-up.

Under the non-engineering category, SDM College of Business Management, Mangaluru won the overall championship and St Aloysius College, Mangalore bagged the overall runners-up trophy.

The management of SJEC congratulated the prize winners of the event Tiara 2023 and appreciated the efforts of organising committee of Tiara 2023 for the grand success of the event.
