BJP seeks suggestions from MPs to celebrate 9 years Modi govt

New Delhi, Mar 30 (IANS): BJP have sought suggestions its MPs for a month long programme to celebrate completion of nine years of the Narendra Modi government at the Centre.

According to a source, BJP MPs have been asked to submit a detailed plan - be it yatra, outreach programme, gathering or any other event they would like to do. The plan will be executed between May 15 and June 15. Details will be submitted to Prime Minister Modi and party President J.P. Nadda.

"The purpose is to know the ground reality ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The conclusion will include feedbacks and other inputs that are required to win the Lok Sabha elections," added the source.

On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during a parliamentary party meeting, asked party MPs to "focus" on social work. "The traditional way of doing politics is changing. So, do social work and the politics will follow," he suggested.

Celebrate the highest unemployment rate in 44 years post-independent India. Celebrate the closure of 70000 MSMEs post demonetisation and its effect on loss of jobs etc.,. Celebrate faulty GST that ended up with SMEs closure. Celebrate the highest migration of youth (and resultant brain drain) that has ended up in nearly 11000 families leaving their homes locked in one state of Kerala alone since their dear and near ones have migrated out of India. Celebrate the successful communal divide planted by the British & continued by the present ruling party at the centre. Celebrate the fall in GDP from 9% during the UPA term to 6% under the 56" chest. Celebrate the unaccounted deaths during the COVID wave when oxygen cylinders, hospital beds, and medicines were unavailable and even space in the crematoria was unavailable ending up in people throwing the bodies of their loved ones in the river. Celebrate the haste in which the leader of the Principal opposition Rahul was disqualified within 24 hours and the flak the people of India have to face from the world democracies who are wondering if our country is the "Mother of Democracy". God save us.

Resignations could be the best way. BJP has failed the country in multiple ways. Misery of middle class seem to multiply many folds in coming few years, if a change does not come in 2024.
