Mangaluru, Mar 30: Three check posts have been set up in Talapadi, Mudipu and Farangipette to prevent the violation of the Model Code of Conduct, according to returning officer Raju K.

Addressing media persons here on Thursday, March 30, Raju said the public can call on 0824-2220569 to report violations of the model code.

He said there are 210 polling stations in the constituency and 21 sectoral officers besides six video surveillance teams and three teams from the video monitoring cell. Also, six flying squad teams will be on duty to prevent any sort of violation of the model code of conduct.

In the constituency, there are as many as 20,00,001 voters out of which 98240 are male and 101754 of them are female voters.
