Udupi: Degree student completes 1500 km expedition to Kanyakumari on bicycle

Udupi, Apr 1: Dinesha, a student of III BA of Milagres College, Kallianpur successfully completed a 1500 km expedition on bicycle and was received in the college with a rousing welcome. The expedition to Kanyakumari which he completed in 20 days covered 1500 km. Dinesha was flagged off from the college campus on March 11. He was felicitated on his arrival to the college in the presence of his mother Parvathi Bovi.

As a unique gesture, principal Dr Vincent Alva received him in Mangaluru on his return from Kanyakumari and he too accompanied him on a bicycle peddling from Mangaluru.

Dr Vincent Alva said the college would support the unique talents in every way possible, so that students would achieve something different in life along with academics.

Dinesha is the son of Sheshu and Parvathy Bovi of Kamalashile in Kundapur.
