New Delhi, Jun 27: Uttar Pradesh chief medical officer A K Shukla may be arrested soon according to sources.
Shukla has been suspected to be involved in the Sachan murder case. He has also been accused for embezzlement of funds in the National Rural Health mission (NRHM).
It has been learnt that Dr Sachan was to be questioned regrding Shukla's involvement in the fund embezxzlement case a day after he died.
So far, there has been no investigation against Shukla. A team of eight sub-inspectors and twelve constables will scrutinize his term in office between 2007-08 after going through all the documents retrieved from his office.
