Martyred Cops Moved in a Garbage Truck

Chhattisgarh, Jun 28: The bodies of three policemen who got killed in a Maoist landmine blast on Sunday June 26 in Dantewada were transported in a garbage truck for gaurd of honour ceremony, the state's police chief admitted.]

As there were no abmbulances available, the only option at that time was a munipality garbage truck, said director general of police (DGP) Vishwa Ranjan.

The bodies of Laxman Bhagat , Aslan Ekka an Bhushan Mandwai have been dispatched to the policemen's respective native vilages.

On bein questioned about the vehicle, Superintendent of police Ankit Garg admitted that it was a municipality vehicle but hesitated to elaborate if it was a garbage truck.

Several ambulances are said to be available in Kirandul and its nearby town Bacheli that have many hospitals.

It is learnt that no attempt was made to bring an ambulance to move the bodies. Instead, a constable in-charge made a phone call to the Kirandul Nagar Palika to send a vehicle.

The policemen got killed when they were travelling with their team in a jeep that ran over a landmine planted by the Maoists.

    Martyred Cops Moved in a Garbage Truck !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If this is the case , would anyone be interested in joining the police or the army to protect the country ???
    The people who take lives ( Corrupt politicians ) move with bullet proof convoys which is the Governments money and the people who give their life for their country are given a Dog's treatment.. No wonder there are more robbers than the cops....
    Sad to see the condition of India.
