Woman Forces Daughter into Prostitution, Two Arrested

Phagwara, Jun 30: A woman along with the owner of a beauty parlour have been arrested for forcing the former's 13-year-old daughter into prostitution.

Sources said that the case came to light when the girl left her house after getting into a row with her mother. The mother later sent her driver to get the girl back to the house.

The driver was spotted forcing the girl into a vehicle on Plahi Road. The matter was reported to the police by a witness who suspected foul play.

On questioning, the girl revealed that her mother was forcing her into prostitution.
