New Delhi, Jun 30: Social activist Anna Hazare's meeting at Sonia's residence expected to take place on Thursday Jun 30 has reportedly not received confirmation as yet. It is said that Congress High Command herself has not given an appointment.

According to sources, the meeting gains importance as it takes place before the proposed all-political party meeting scheduled for Sunday July 3. After the insignificant outcome of the last meeting between civil society members headed by Anna Hazare and government  representatives, Anna has been meeting various political leaders to seek support and
advice for Lokpal bill draft.

Government took firm stand, not to bow to Anna's demands and went ahead with its own draft. It can be recalled here that Kapil Sibal had earlier said that government-prepared draft would be final.

Despite the deadlock with the government, Anna Hazare on Wednesday June 29 had sought time to meet Sonia Gandhi. However, latest developments hint at Anna's meeting with biggest decision-maker Sonia Gandhi, is unlikely to take place on Thursday June 30.
In the last couple of days Anna had met senior BJP leader L K Adavni, left party leaders Prakash Karat, A B Bardhan and other senior political leaders.

Congress, Akali Dal and AIADMK are against bringing the Prime Minister under the purview of the Lokpal, while Left, DMK and BSP are in favour of bringing in the Prime Minister under the ambit of Lokpal.

So far, BJP and the RLD remain non-committal on the inclusion of PM.
