DMK's Maran Meets PM ahead of Cabinet Reshuffle

New Delhi, Jun 30: Union Textiles Minister and DMK representative Dayanidhi Maran met Prime minister Manmohan Singh on Thursday june 30 ahead of the reshuffle of the Union Council of Ministers.

Former Aircel chief C Sivasanharan alleged that Maran had forced him to sell his state in Aricel to Malaysian firm Maxis whose owner is considered close to Maran and his brother Kalanidhi who owns Sun TV Network. Rubbishing such allegations, Maran said that he would prove his innocence to the authorities with records if needed.

DMK's leaders A Raja and Rajya Sabha MP Kanimozhi are in Tihar Jail in connection to the 2G spectrum case.
