Aurangabad Bus Accident - Death Toll Rises to Ten

Aurangabad, Jul 1: The number of deceased in the MSRTC bus accident near Sillod here has mounted to ten, said the police on Friday July 1.

It was reported on Thursday June 30 that a speeding state transport bus fell into a roadside well killing six persons and injuring several others.

Nine of the dead were identified as Nazema Baig (54), Kamal Kshirsagar(41), Noor Baig Gafoor Baig (67), Faiz Ahmed Baig (25), Bawiskar Pandit Ganpat (54) Salma Bano Noor Baig (60), Rajendra Lavhale (30), Kishor Tatewar (27) and Ganga Bawiskar(52). The rescue operations which started yesterday continued for more than seven hours. 

Eight passengers were admitted to hospital following a rescue operation that went on for several hours.
