President Patil's Andhra Visit Begins

Hyderabad, Jul 2: President Pratibha Patil landed at Begumpet airport by a special Indian Air Force plane at around 12.30 pm on Saturday July 2 to a warm welcome by state dignatories.

She is on six-day visit to the state, and was recieved by governor E S L Narasimhan, chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, ministers Ponnala Laxmaiah, Geeta Reddy, Mukesh Goud, and others.

She will be staying at Rashtrapati Nilayam, the official retreat of the president in Bollarum, Secunderabad, where she spends a week every year.

On July 4, she will hold an interactive session with the students of Indian School of Business and on July 5 will visit Bharat Dynamics Limited.

On July 6, Patil will visit Tirupati.

On July 7, the President will inaugurate Annadanam Complex in Tirumala before leaving to Mumbai.
