Mangaluru: Basketball Court, Sports Camp inaugurated at St Agnes CBSE School

Mangaluru, Apr 13: A new basketball court was inaugurated at St Agnes CBSE school on April 1. It was a grandeur ceremony with the dignitaries being Sr Dr Lydia Fernandes AC, handball coach Rajesh AB, basketball coach Aditya Mahale, principal Sr Maria Gracilda AC, the administrator Sr Edna Furtado AC and vice principal Sr Lenita Lobo AC.

The inaugural began with a melodious prayer song followed by a spectacular welcome dance by students.

The inaugural was done by the guests with ribbon cutting and basketing the ball. The guests expressed their gratitude for inviting them and congratulated school for encouraging students towards co-curricular activities and at the same time making suitable arrangements to provide the best.

The programme was compered by Jenica with the formal welcome. The vote of thanks was given by Faldrin. It was a well-coordinated programme under the guidance of PE trainers.

A 10-day camp was also organised for the students from April 1-11. Thirty students enrolled in the event of handball and basketball coaching which was taken up daily under the guidance of Aditya and PE trainers.

The management congratulated the principal and staff for this great achievement and wished all success for future endeavour.
