Nottingham: MUKA Members Delight in Family Picnic

Nottingham, Jul 4: Mangalorean United Konkani Association (MUKA) organized a family picnic on Saturday July 4 at Abbey Park Leicestershire.

President of the association Deepak Alvares, welcomed the gathering. Fr Manoj D’Souza blessed the day with a short prayer.

The families travelled to the spot from Nottingham. Cultural secretary John Fernandes and Ricky Rasquinha conducted various games for children and other age groups. Games for adults were arranged after lunch. Games like 'Sponge water game' instilled competitive spirit among the participants.

The day concluded with Anita Sequeira proposing the vote of thanks and winners were awarded prizes. The organizing committee of the event appreciated MUKA's efforts to make it a successful event.
