Maoists Kill Four in Orissa

Bhubaneswar, Jul 7 (IANS): Maoists Thursday killed four people, including two policemen and two suspected spies, in Orissa, police said.

While a constable and a Home Guard were shot dead in Koraput district, two villagers were murdered in neighbouring Rayagada district.

The Koraput incident took place when the policemen were returning to Machkund police station from a weekly market in Ankadeli village, some 100 km from Koraput town, Superintendent of Police A.K. Sahu told IANS.

In Rayagada, a group of rebels dragged two villagers from their homes and killed them with sharp weapons, accusing them of spying for police.
