Mangaluru, Apr 26: A man has gone missing from Someshwara sea shore here leaving behind his belongings.
The missing person is identified as Vasanth Ameen (49), a car dealer, son of Jinnappa Poojary and a resident of Dharmanagar, Ullal. However, his wallet, mobile phone, footwear and car were found at Rudrapade, Someshwara sea shore.
Vasanth hails from Bastipadpu, Ullal by origin and had got a house constructed at Dharmanagar a few months ago. He is married and has a young daughter.
It is learnt that he had left his house on Wednesday April 26 morning informing his wife that he was going for work and since then went missing. Locals found his car at Someshwara sea shore and wallet, mobile phone and sandals at Rudrapade.
A search is in progress for him in the sea with the help of expert swimmers.
