New Delhi, Jul 9: The bharatiya Janata Party alleged that along with DMK Congress also is involved in the 2G spectrum scam.
In support to their allegations, the BJP pointed at a meeting of home minister P Chidambaram with union telecom minister A Raja in May 2008 of which no minutes have been found.
The party demanded a probe in to the matter.
The BJP has also demanded that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh come clean and make a statement on the issue.
The party’s spokesperson Nirmala Sitharaman said that the view taken by the finance minister in January 2008 to close the mater after the actual spectrum allocation had taken place was “an attempt to cover up a blatant misuse of power”.
