Mangaluru: Students of SJEC get first place in Healthcare Innovation Hackathon organized by Nitte

Mangaluru, May 12: The Students of St Joseph Engineering College - Mangaluru have been awarded the first place in the Healthcare Innovation Hackathon organized by the Nitte University under the aegis of the Nitte Technology Enabling Center held on May 5 to 7.

The prize was awarded for the Smart Wheelchair developed by the students of the Automation and Robotics Club ARC-SJEC on May 7. The team was awarded with a cash prize of ?50,000. The following BE students were part of the team: Adithya Biju (Mech), Anshul R Shetty (Mech), Ansilla Pais – (CSE), Darren Dsa (AIML), Mahmood Sufaid (Mech) and Shreyas Kadri - (CSE).

The SJEC management congratulated the students and everyone who has guided the entire team.
