Bantwal, May 13: “Dedicated hard work and formation of peaceful and harmonious Bantwal during the last five years made me win for the second time,” said victorious BJP candidate MLA Rajesh Naik Ulippadi.
He was speaking to reporters at B C Road party office after receiving the MLAs declaration of victory at NITK, Surathkal, visit to Rajarajeshwari temple and offering pooja.
“I will have to work in the opposition. I will make use of the available opportunities and sincerely work for the development of Bantwal. There would have been scope for more work if I was in the ruling party. However I will bring the maximum possible funds and develop Bantwal. I am glad that I was elected for the second time. The efforts of activists and the cooperation of voters made my victory possible. I am grateful to them,” he said.
