Beltangady, May 14: A complaint has been filed against a businessman accused of kidnapping a married woman and sexually harassing her in a car on the pretext of giving her a job.

Based on a complaint filed by the victim, an FIR was registered against businessman Prabhakar Hegde, the owner of Mahaveera Textile and Mahaveera Super Market.

The victim woman along with her husband went to Beltangadi police station and filed a complaint against businessman Prabhakar Hegde.
 
 
She was taken in the car by the accused on the pretext of showing his supermarket where he allegedly started molesting her and she got out of the car screaming. It is said that some youths who were passing by on a bike rescued her.

Prabhakar Hegde, a businessman, has gone missing as a complaint of sexual harassment was filed by the victim.

Now that the FIR has been registered on the complaint, the Beltangadi police have laid a trap for the arrest of businessman Prabhakar Hegde.
