Mangaluru, May 15: ‘Moogajjana Koli’ directed by Santhosh Mada has been selected for the 13th Lift-off global network film festival, which will be held on May 29.
Santhosh Mada has previously directed the national award winning Tulu film ‘Jeetige’. The language spoken by Okkaligar Gowda of Sullia Arrabashi is used for the first time in ‘Moogajjana Koli’.
The movie is produced by K Suresh, cinematography by Vishnuprasad, music is composed by Arun Gopan and background music by Dipankuran.
Naveen D Padil, Gaurika Deepulal, Prakash Thuminad, Deepak Rai Panaje, Roopashree Vorkady, Sukanya, Raghavendra Bhatt, and Sandhya are in the lead roles.
Clips of Dr Jeevan Ram Sullia's drama ‘Amarasullia Svatantrya Horata 1837’ were used in the film.
‘Moogajjana Koli’ is the story of conflict and relationship between the girl and Moogajja.
