Kasaragod: Manjeshwar police seize 58 grams of MDMA drug, 2 arrested

Kasaragod, May 15: Manjeshwar police chased and intercepted a car before confiscating 58 MDMA drugs being carried in it. They arrested two persons  in this connection.

The arrested have been identified as Kayyar resident Mohammed Harris and Bandyou Ichlangodu resident Ibrahim Batish, both of whom are aged 30 years. The police have also taken into custody the car that were used by them.

The police personnel who received definite information inspected the car on the national highway near Vamanjoor, Manjeshwar. Two persons who were in the car tried to escape. But the police gave them a chase and caught them. The drug was found in the car upon inspection.
