Kasargod: Rs 18.5 lac cash without documents seized, accused arrested

Kasargod, May 17: Police team under the leadership of Dy SP Balakrishnan Nair arrested a man carrying Rs 18.5 lac cash without documents. Police took custody of the cash.

The arrested is identified as K K Irshad (33), a resident of Kanhangad.

Police personnel who received definite information were inspecting vehicles near Nileshwar market here when they found the cash being carried by the accused on a scooter.

The cash was kept under the vehicle seat. There were currency notes worth Rs 18.5 lac in the denomination of 500 rupees. Police investigation is underway.

    Is it everytime one shud carry documents along with any amount carry , 18.5 is pei nut amount nowedrdays ,may require for any job or advance , what police want to proove in this,
