Mangaluru: Hindutva vs BJP divide widens in DK post poll - Party, Sangh Parivar leaders face crisis

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (MS)

Mangaluru, May 17: Leaders of the BJP and Sangh Parivar are facing a dilemma as the divide between Hindutva and the BJP widens in the district of Dakshina Kannada after the recent legislative assembly elections.

This crisis, which originated in Puttur, has escalated through social media channels. If left unresolved, there is a possibility that it may spread throughout the entire district.

The remarkable number of votes secured by Arun Kumar Puttila in Puttur, who challenged the BJP for not granting him a party ticket, has sent shockwaves through the top leadership of the BJP and Sangh Parivar. Despite their best efforts to gather votes for their candidate Asha Timmappa, the BJP and Sangh Parivar failed to secure sufficient support. If this trend continues, it could potentially impact the upcoming taluk panchayat, zilla panchayat, and Lok Sabha elections, according to BJP leaders' estimations.

Amidst the astonishing vote count in favor of Arun Puttila in Puttur, a banner featuring garlanded footwear of former CM Sadananda Gowda and state BJP leader Nalin Kumar Kateel was displayed near the main bus stand of Puttur. The banner accuses Sadananda Gowda and Nalin of being responsible for the BJP's defeat in the recent elections.

It appears that the resentment among BJP workers, witnessed during the funeral procession of Praveen Nettaru in Bellare, has not subsided yet. The overwhelming support for the BJP rebel candidate and the projection of Puttila as the leader of the Hindu organization by party workers have reinforced this perception. It seems that the district's BJP leaders face a greater challenge in resolving internal issues than simply being concerned about their defeat in the state legislative assembly elections.

Two of the highest literate districts of Karnataka are Udupi and Mangalore. The tragedy is it has seeped into casteism and communalism. It appears education has not enlightened the majority of the masses there that Hindutva is a way of life to be lived with mutual respect for one another and not aim for supremacy over other citizens who follow a different faith. We hope they understand this hard truth and work for secular and united districts to achieve 'Sabha ke Saath, Sabke Vikas'.

I guess major billava community youths are die-hard supporter of this BJP & Hindutva. Despite having anti incumbancy of current BJP government , hidutva trump card crushed winning hopes of billava candidates like Rakshith shivaram , sorake and gopal poojary. It seems to be these community haven't learned yet aftermath of political murder their own community Praveen nettar . This time in the name of Hindutva & religious card in DK & Udupi districts BJP , congress including all parties fielded giant Businessmen, Bigshots Contractor & Real estate business men were became candidates . This is not good move for twin districts . For the long run I suggest DK & Udupi Billava leaders must be united to safe guard their community rights by launching extensive out reach programme and process of an organization building relationships in order to counsel , advise them, to teach and impress by frequent repetitions or continue assessment of something with the intention of bringing change which benefit to the society and nation building exercise .

Congress during Indira's time recognised billavas and bestowed respect on the entire community. Dominent castes had kept the community at a distance but it is the contribution of successive congress govts., that today billavas are one of the leading communities. However, the young generation is not aware or not told how their ancestors were treated and how congress lifted them up. That is the reason they have fallen into the trap of BJP just to get votes and for street fights. Sooner the billavas realise this mistake better it is for the community.

BJP iis facing the consequences of thwir ploy and other hiden agenda. They brought first Ram temple issue, then Hindutva and Ram Rajya, Lpve Jihad, Azan Muslims prayer call by loud speaker, religious conversion, Gau mata, Beef ban, black money by opposition party members, communal hatred and murders. Ultimately they invited outsiders to meddle in State election. Even then they could not win the elections because the majorities started realizing Modi's vicious hiden agenda. He made promises and produced fake results of achievments to fool people and succume to his baseless figure. Its a curse and result of bad KARMA. Now his own rightwing activists are using the dose on Modi to taste and see the affect. Devil minded cannot win over Gods plans.🙏

Now due to internal fighting and resentment one of thier own person may be murdered by them but blame put on minorities. Same thing happened in Praveen Nettaru’s case who was killed by BJP’s internal fight and blamed Muslims and went to the extent of arresting few innocent Muslim youths. Police being hand in glove with BJP goons.
