New Delhi, Jul 13: Former law minister Veerapa Moily took charge of his new assignment as new corporate affairs minister on Wednesday July 13, a day after the cabinet reshuffle by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

Following the reshuffle, Moily blamed vested interests for his move as his exit from the law ministry came after the government found itself losing ground in the Supreme Court in connection with the telecom scam.

However, Moily  seemed to be happy on Wednesday as he assumed his post as new corporate minister.

He said, "The Prime Minister and Sonia Gandhi know when they entrust me with a job...they know I am reformist...with that faith and trust they gave me this responsibility...let me manage my job.”
