Two-day CET examinations begin in Dakshina Kannada, Udupi

Mangaluru/Udupi, May 20: Students appeared for the Common Entrance Test (CET) on May 20 by Karnataka Examination Authority for professional courses of engineering and BSc nursing in Dakshina Kannada (DK) and Udupi districts. The exam will continue on May 21 as well.

In DK, 16,113 students will write the examination in 28 centres while in Udupi 5,712 students will attempt the examination at 12 centres.

Deputy directors of pre-university education of both the districts earlier said that all preparations are done to hold the examinations without any hiccups.

Students are prohibited to wear watches or any other electronic gadgets inside the examination hall. Full sleeves shirts and ornaments are also prohibited. The deputy commissioners of both the districts had asked the students to be present at the examination centres well before the beginning of the examinations and bring along with them any one identity card. College identity card, bus pass, driving license, passport, Aadhar card and PAN card are valid ID proofs that can be shown by the students while entering the examination centre.
