Mangaluru, May 20: Founder, UK & Co, Bengaluru & chairman, FICCI Karnataka State Council K Ullas Kamath inaugurated a day-long Industry Academia Interface for Students Start- ups & Entrepreneurship on Saturday May 20 at T V Raman Pai Convention Centre.

The event was organised by Mangalore University Commerce Teachers Association (MUCTA) in association with Federation of Teachers' Councils of Commerce and Management in Karnataka (FTCCMK), Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) and Canara College, Mangaluru, and sponsored by UK and Co, Bengaluru.

Addressing the gathering, K Ullas Kamath said, “Student life is the best period. Life teaches us bigger lessons than what teachers teach. People who are first in class are never first in life. Do not worry about the numbers you get in exams. We need to do something extraordinary in life, it does not give us a re-examination. You need to grow to develop your country. Earn money for the future generation. Every job has its own dignity. Small companies have emotions more than the bigger organisations. Change the way of thinking.”
