The Aug 25, 2003 twin blasts - one at Gateway of India and another at Zaveri Bazar -killed 54 people and injured another 244.

The congested Zaveri Bazar in South Mumbai has a number of shops located in its narrow lanes.

Wednesday's blast took place outside a famous eatery where people generally meet for a quick snack after office hours. This place is crowded the most in the evenings.
