Mangaluru: Farewell held, prizes distributed at Srinivas University's Institute of Aviation Studies

Mangaluru, May 31: Institute of Aviation Studies Srinivas University bid adieu to the students of BBA Aviation studies of 2020-2023 batch. A farewell function and prize distribution ceremony was organized on May 30 in the campus of the Institute of Aviation Studies.

The chief guest for the programme was Dr P S Aithal, vice chancellor, Srinivas University. Abhishek Kini, a first-year BBA (Aviation Management) student, led the programmes opening prayer.

All of the dignitaries and student representatives from the final years then lit the lamp. Prof Kavyashree, course coordinated, Institute of Aviation Studies, welcomed the gathering for the farwell and prize distribution ceremony. Dr Pavithra Kumari, dean, Institute of Aviation Studies announced the winners of the numerous cultural competitions as well as the winners of the overall championship trophy of the cultural competition.

The team Abyudhaya won the overall championship. Dr P S Aithal, Srinivas University delivered the presidential remark and inspired the students to pursue their goals and improve society at the same time. Light is a sign of brightness and prosperity; thus Dr Pavithra Kumari, dean, Institute of Aviation Studies, persuaded all the final-year students to light the lamp of prosperity. She then wished the students that the light they were lighting would bring them pleasure and prosperity.

The programme was compered by Prof Deekshitha, faculty, Institute of Aviation Studies. The vote of thanks was delivered by Prof Anjana T V, faculty, Institute of Aviation Studies.
