Mangaluru, Jun 3: The 12th annual day celebration at Padua College of Commerce and Management was a grand event that brought together the college community, esteemed guests, and dignitaries. The event was held at the St Sebastian Jubilee Hall in Bendur, Mangaluru. It was organized by the college management, under the guidance of the correspondent, Fr Vincent F Monteiro and the principal, Fr Arun Wilson Lobo.

The chief guest for the evening was Giridhar Salian, director of the Karnataka German Technical Training Institute in Mangaluru. Salian's presence added prestige and significance to the occasion. The guests of honour included Dr Molly S Chaudhuri, director of the Manel Srinivas Nayak Institute of Management, Vinod D'Souza, vice-president of Bendur PPP and associate professor at AJIET Mangaluru, and Patsy Britto, secretary of the parish pastoral parishad. Vice principal Prof Roshan Vincy Santhumayor presented the college annual report. 

The event commenced with the distribution of prizes, recognizing and honoring the academic and extracurricular achievements of the students. This was followed by the stage programme. The stage programme featured speeches from the president of the college, Fr Vincent F Monteiro, chief guest, Giridhar Salian, guest of honour, Dr Molly S Chaudhuri. They highlighted the importance of education, personal growth, and the role of commerce and management in shaping successful careers.

The cultural programme commenced captivating the audience with a diverse range of performances. Students showcased their talents in dance, music and drama. The cultural programme demonstrated the creativity and artistic abilities of the students, leaving a lasting impression on everyone present.
