India-US anti-terror ties have deepened: Krishna

New Delhi, July 19 (IANS) External Affairs Minister S.M. Krishna Tuesday said that the anti-terror ties between India and the US have "deepened".

Addressing a joint press conference with visiting Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Krishna said he met his US counterpart for about two-and-a-half hours to review "our bilateral relations".

"We discussed a broad range of regional and global developments. We expressed satisfaction at the momentum in our relationship," Krishna said, after the two leaders co-chaired the India-US strategic dialogue here.

"Our cooperation on intelligence and counter-terrorism has deepened. Our non-proliferation cooperation has grown. We are working on expanding our bilateral economic ties."

Krishna said the two sides have "expanded political consultations" over global issues.
