There have been numerous instances of highway accidents caused by cows occupying the roads, posing a significant danger, particularly during nighttime. These sudden obstructions make it extremely challenging for drivers to react in time. I personally witnessed an accident near Kondapur about six months ago, where the driver lost control, resulting in the car overturning and the occupants sustaining severe injuries. The local residents promptly came to the aid of the victims, but there was also a sentiment of blame directed towards the Karnataka BJP, citing religious politics as a contributing factor. It is crucial for the government to address such issues effectively to ensure the safety and well-being of its citizens, enabling them to protect their lives on the roads.

This is what happens when a cows life is more valuable than a human life!! In India - hit a cow and get thrashed by goons, kill a person and get bail - sad but true!!

A foolish reply by Arjun, it seems. When a big animal like cow comes into the middle of the road unexpectedly, what can a driver do? Only option is to avoid it. One more thing, I have seen many drivers who avoid even a small cat or dog. What do you say about this?

Why are the stray cows on the road? Its dangerous to people and also the poor cows. The cow owners must be accountable for this and take care.

These are cows which have passed their productivity cycle and are a burden on the farmer; normally such cows would be sold to slaughter houses for beef! Now because of beef ban, these old cows are left astray to fend for themselves! A productive cow would seldom be left stray on the roads! These stray cows roam around searching for food here and there, near dustbins!!

Stray cattle left by the owners to graze can suddenly appear in the middle of the road from nowhere and cause accidents leading to loss of life or maiming, however slow you drive, if you are unlucky!! Owners of these stray cattle should be taken to task for their irresponsible actions 😕!
