NEET 2023 - 96% students of Expert PU College secure eligibility for medical admission

Mangaluru, Jun 14: Byresh S H of Expert P U College, Mangaluru achieved a remarkable feat in the NEET 2023 examination for admission to medical colleges.

He secured the 48th All India rank, scoring 710 out of 720 marks and emerged as the second-highest scorer in Karnataka. Additionally, 1307 of the total 1365 students from the college have attained eligibility for medical college admissions this year.

Another student, Shaamik Abdul Rehman, scored 702 marks and achieved the All India rank of 180. Arnav Kamath scored 700 marks and secured the 307th All India rank, while Rohith Gejje scored 690 marks and secured the 868th rank, said Prof Narendra L Nayak, the chairman of the institution.

Speaking to press persons on Wednesday, Prof Narendra L Nayak stated that the college students have secured 4 of the top 1000 All India ranks. Moreover, 3 students scored above 700 marks, 8 students scored above 675, 22 students scored above 650, 42 students scored above 625, 79 students scored above 600, 161 students scored above 550, 275 students scored above 500, and 575 students scored above 400 marks.

At the national level, 96% of the students from Expert College Mangaluru secured eligibility for medical admission, compared to 56% of the total students appearing for NEET across the country.

Prof Narendra L Nayak attributed this accomplishment to the quality of education at Expert College.
