Mangaluru, Jun 15: Former minister V Sunil Kumar has strongly criticized the recent decisions of the Congress government, questioning their inclusion of "failed leaders" in the school curriculum while neglecting the teachings of patriotic figures like Veer Savarkar and Hegdewar. He also raised concerns about the withdrawal of the anti-conversion Act and accused the Congress of diverting attention from pressing issues.
Expressing his discontent, he asked whether the Congress party is attempting to rewrite history by including lessons on fanatic Tippu Sultan, anti-national Aurangzeb, and "foreign leader Italy madam."
Sunil Kumar warned that if Kannadigas remain silent, the Congress may even include lessons on those who built the Lulu Mall in Bengaluru and include individuals accused in cooker blast incidents in the list of patriotic figures. He emphasized the importance of protesting against the Congress policies for the well-being of students and society.
"We had previously warned that the Congress would withdraw the anti-conversion Act if it came to power. Now, it is trying to impose its agenda on the state," he alleged.
