Sullia: Boulder rolls onto highway during road widening – Motorcyclist injured, vehicle damaged

Sullia, Jun 18: A boulder rolled onto the highway during the road widening work of Sullia-Sonangeri-Bengamale while a JCB machine was being used to level a compound wall.

The boulder struck a passing motorcyclist, causing minor injuries.

The two-wheeler also suffered damage in the incident.

Another boulder remains precariously positioned on the edge of the compound wall, posing a potential risk. With the monsoon approaching, there is concern that it may slide down.

The public has urged the contractor to promptly remove the boulder to prevent any further danger.
