Nagpur, Jul 21: The Nagpur branch of India Against Corruption will start a citizens' referendum drive on Lokpal Bill from Thursday July 21 in response to the government's allegations against the civil society. The drive is said to continue till July 29.
The referendum will contain an objective based questionnaire where citizens can agree or disagree with the demands.
The results of the referendum will be submitted to the government to avoid the presentation of a weak bill. On the other hand, Anna Hazare has announced that he will be sitting on another indefinite hunger strike from August 16 if a weak bill is presented.
The drive will be carried out in various colleges, schools, government offices and public areas and counting of votes will be done at the end of each day.
