@joel your saying weak right? It should happen to your children then you will know the pain what the family has to go through. People like yourself should refrain from using social media / your phone because you are speaking as if you have no brain. It should happen to your family then lets watch others pass comments and there wont be a damn thing you’ll be able to do about it. Think before blurting out nonsense and posting it over social media. There are consequences.

The current generation isn't emotionally strong like before. We don't even know if he was in depression before either because guys do not show their pain to the outside world. He might have something bothering him a lot and might have felt like no one was understanding him. This ended up him finding peace in death.

It is our environment who is creating this, how many of this generation kids get together in evening and play in playground, there is lot of homeworks and gadgets is the key reason, how many of ourselves can leave even a day without using these devices unless there is no access, you ask any question the answers are found in Google but it doesn't teach how to love and parental guidelines physically. yes of course the world has changed and we need to move forward new technology and unfortunately we cannot blame anyone due to the situations, there is a huge difference in our syllabus and current which is not the same. May his soul rest in peace

Vera sad.Heartfelt sympathy to the family. It looks like he was forced into Engineering studies from Parents? If so he could have told them ,he cant or dont want.Nowadays most of students are forced to study or asked ,medicine ,Engineering .Parents think it brings more money best job.Did anyone ask if he wants or coop with studies? Many fail to do when forced ,to study end up either suicide or go out of city. Please ask your child what she wants or interest.Today India can pflaster their streets with engineers .Hardly jobs Even .in advt.of marriage channels they seek Engineers or doctors. What should normal worker who has no money for this do?Boy could have expressed whether he wanted sleep a little more and then study .Simply it was a wrong time to tell.?May his soul rest in Peace. One dont know the reason here .

It is truly sad that these days students or children just do not like corrections and guidance. Present day most students are not truly interested in studies, neither in family life. They have friends and gadgets that keep them busy and away from studies & family members. Parents struggle to give their children a decent life, where as children fail to assess it and value it. Most children these days lack strong mental stability, ability to accept failures or rejections, a word called NO from anyone or for anything. Most of the times, I have advised teachers, school college managements to have orientation for parents as well, not only for students. These days parents pamper kids beyond any limits, given them whatever they ask for & thus the kids are used to an easy life. A young, budding youth has just gone by leaving behind parents who will probably live in this guilt until end of their lives. I feel sorry for these parents. God give them strength and courage to face this huge loss.

Forcing children to take up a course against their will can end up like this. Very sad a young life is snuffed out.

do not study, while away your youth & expect your parents to keep on feeding you all the way. Half such fellows are so due to parental or grandparental pampering. A kick on their backside and no food till they behave are highly recommended.

My parents are not educated, so they never pressured me to study, But I studied and became engineer. But now since I am educated, I am in a way putting little pressure on my kids to study. I feel I should stop, but somehow system or the school will always wakes me up to guide them.

Sad things are taking place these days. Today's youths have more distractions than their parents had. Some study for their parents instead of thinking they have real concern for their future. Some boys study less but score good marks without mugging like some others. I had come across same incident a few years back where boy's parents wanted him to study engineering, In second year he lost interest and used to come to our house in the afternoon with the pretext of some project by using our PC. Finally we found out why, and asked his parents to take his interest into consideration. He dropped out and pursued nursing and now he is working in a hospital emergency section, Just married and has ambition to get plum post in UK. So don't put pressure on them, consult him affectionately and avoid these tragedies. Youngsters don't take hasty decisions and if you can't communicate directly with parents send them message or write a letter get the issues resolved creating Win Win Situation for all.

You cannot generalize. Some children become lazy and find their comfort zone in spending time with gadgets. If you let them do what they want, they will just eat, sleep and spend time and get into bad company and ultimately ruin their life. Parent in this case are naturally bound to be worried and ask their children to study. Our parents shouted at us too, we did not commit suicide.

Some parents do nt undersrand at all. Wt dey (parents) want, children shld study. Otherwise everydy pressure. Comparing deir children wd others. All children r not same. Majority parents hv money. So dey wnt deir children 2 be doctor engnr. Dose who hv no money competing wd the one's who hv money. Going 4 loan. Another madness trying hard 2 send their children uk, Germany, canada, Australia, usa by mortgaging property. There dey suffer to survive here parents wail for not coverung up loan.
