Tulukoota Thailand holds get together

Thailand, Jun 19: Tulukoota Thailand is a small association for Tulvas residing in Thailand. What started as merely 20 members group has now risen to over 100 members. The goal of the Tulukoota is to unite the Tuluvas for the cultural and social good of the community.

Recently, Tulukoota held a get together on June 11 to select the new executive committee. Vinay Rai was unanimously elected as president. Vinay Rai expressed his gratitude for the trust and responsibility and spoke about the events that would happen in the near future. The rest of the committee is comprised of Sharik Hussain as secretary, Rajath Rao as treasurer, Akshatha Praveen, Sanketh Alva, Krithi Alva, Michael Veigas and Margaret Tauro as cultural committee and finally Shiv Poojari and Anand C K as sports/picnic organizers. The energetic executive committee is selected to lead the activities of tulukoota. Tulukoota has successfully conducted many events in past and have also invited famous Tuluva stars as celebrity guests.

The other agenda of the get together was to bid farewell to our former president, Naveen Roshan Pinto and his family. After living in Bangkok for 15+ years, Naveen and family are relocating. Beloved members of tulukoota Margaret Tauro, Praveen Kumar and Lakshminarayana Acharya spoke kind words and wished Naveen and family success for their future endeavors. Tulukoota along with Thai Kannada Balaga felicitated the family. Delora Correa Pinto expressed heartfelt emotions and thanked everyone for the love and blessings showered upon their family. The event turned out to be a grand success, with lots of fun, laughter and tasty Indian food.
