Mangaluru, Jun 21: A woman pedestrian escaped miraculously from a road accident in Naringana near Thadugoli on Tuesday June 20. The woman had a miraculous escape due to private bus driver’s timely presence of mind.

A private bus was traveling from Mudipu to Mangaluru. A woman was trying to cross the road, without noticing the oncoming bus.

Kudos. Great eye sight of the driver. When you cross the road first watch both sides and then cross the road. Otherwise sure death.

Don't praise the driver. Any driver would do the same. Did you notice the speedy of the bus. The CCTV video is enough proof to charge the driver. Having said that, the woman is extremely lucky. Thank God, the woman was not crushed.

If the accident had taken place, then the fault would have been of the driver. No matter what, it can be clearly seen that the driver was over speeding and the road is dual carriage way. yes, the mistaken is also from the woman as well, who was not attentive while crossing the road and took things for granted. Drivers need to be curbed in their driving senses and need to driver within the speed limit on such crowded roads. Thank god mishap got avoided.

this is not Dubai where as per law motorists have to slow down if a pedestrian is crossing, unfortunately here the law is flaky with a decade old 1960 motor act rule that has remained unchanged and truth is this country does not have a international traffic system and most of them get license either bribing a agent or concerned authorities hence people have to be careful while crossing the road.

Thank God driver was quick enough to drive the bus to side to save her.My God ,the woman never concerned about it walking in middle of road and dangerous minute or second and simply walk away.as if nothing happened .We blame cows middle of road, here a cow with two legs.God saved her life. She should be careful in future to avoid such danger to her and drivers.Drivers cant drive slower than this on road .

Feeling happy for the driver as he did not make an accident. If there was accident then lady would have been killed. This lady was crossing the road casually as it she was in her compound.

ITS VERY NARROW ROAD, DRIVER SHOULD BE CAREFULL WHILE DRIVING INSIDE CITY. NOT ONLY THIS WOMEN MOST OF THE PEOPLE CROSS THE ROAD. AND WE CAN ITS TURN ROAD, DIFFICULT TO KNOW IF ANY VEHICAL COMING FROM OTHER SIDE. SO ITS BETTER TO PLACE A SPEED BREAKER AS WELL.

That doesn't mean a pedestrian can cross the road at his/her will and pleasure. She doesn't look either in the right or left while crossing, as if there is nothing on the road.

Hats 👒 upto driver but the driver was in rocket speed. If this incident catches in camera means it should be city area & driver has to know people's are crossing here & there ^ he should reduce the speed when he approaches city or main village hub.

Speed limit 30km/h driving 60 km per hour? City limits even worse if they hit 90 km/h or more it is not surprising. Woman also blindly crossing the road and bit lucky.
