Puttur: ‘CROSSROADS 2k23' intra-departmental commerce fest concludes

Puttur, Jun 21: The department of commerce, St Philomena College organized an intradepartmental commerce fest 'CROSSROADS 2k23' in association with commerce association of the college in the SJM Hall on June 20.

Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro, principal of the college presided over the valedictory function said that skill in time management is the core discipline which would form any individual to be a responsible citizen, and only the responsible persons can have a strong foundation for a quality future because the responsible person only can win the race of life. When one shines in success, his/her shoulders will be high. Further, he congratulated the students for organizing this fest which provides various dimensions to exhibit maturity in management and leadership.

Premalatha K, dean of Department of Commerce and Thejaswi Bhat K, convener of the fest were present on the dais.

In the fest 11 teams participated. Team Athena emerged the winner and Team Apollo runners’ up. In the cultural events III BCom. ‘A’ and III BCom ‘B’ secured overall winners and overall runners’ up trophies respectively. Himashree K K announced the names of the winners in the competition. Nagaprasad and team rendered prayer. Reethesh Rai welcomed.
Nuthana compered. Student council president Mohammad Ashik and joint secretary Shivani extended necessary support.
