Udupi, Jun 21: MLA Yashpal instructed the doctors of the district hospital, community health centre and primary health centre to treat the patients in a friendly manner and make the people of Udupi feel safe.
In a meeting, the MLA discussed about the patients suffering due to inappropriate management of dialysis centres in private organizations and instructed them to send a letter to the government.
Matters related to letter to the revenue department to identify a government site for the construction of taluk hospital in Brahmavar, advance measures to control viral diseases during monsoon, appeal to the government to check the problems faced by women and child hospital, Udupi, lease and outsourcing and ASHA workers appointments, 108 ambulances, and the appointment of specialists from private hospitals to the district hospital were discussed in the meeting.
Dr Nagabhushan Udupa district health officer, district surgeon Dr Sudhesh, and doctors from the community health centre were present.
