Woman Alleges Abduction, Rape by Two Army Personnel

Srinagar, Jul 22:  A woman allegedly raped by two Army Personnel has lodged a complaint of abduction and rape against them, here.

Rukaya Bano, a resident of Kulgam district alleged that the two men raped her after abducting her when she came out of her house on Tuesday July 19.

Rukaya’s relatives said that she went missing after she stepped out of her house on Tueday. They also said that she had been forcibly detained by the two Army men in a meadow hutment for two days.

Protests broke out in the area following the woman's allegations.
