Kolkata, Jul 22: While addressing the party’s victory rally at the Brigade Parade Ground, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday appealed to all the political parties to let go of the divided rule and come forward to work together in order to build a new and better state.

The CM said that the politics of ‘Us’ and ‘Them’ will not be carried over to the new Bengal.

She also added that a meeting of all political parties with representations in the state Assembly will be held on August 3 to proceed with the development of the state.

Leader of the opposition party in the state assembly Surya Kanta Mishra said that the party had already extended its co-operation to the government. But the decision regarding the proposal will be taken only after receiving an invitation from them.
