Mangaluru, Jun 22: “As many as seven teams have been formed to hold a publicity drive about the development programmes taken up by Narendra Modi-led BJP government in the past nine years,” said BJP leader C T Ravi.
Addressing a press meet here on Thursday Jun 22, Ravi said, “Members of the BJP team will hold door-to-door public campaign to explain about the programmes and schemes of the union government. The political situation has been completely changed after 2014 in the nation. Our government is in favour of the schemes and not scams. It is a fight between schemes and scams.
“Our government is all about reforms, performance and transformation. The BJP government brought the tax system under a single window through the implementation of the GST. The government has introduced several programmes in favour of general public including construction of public toilets, providing LPG connection and other facilities,” he said.
He added that the country's GDP has increased to 7.2 percent post-Covid and global leaders are lauding the administration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Reacting on the comments of Congress leaders that the BJP has made Adani and Ambani richer, he said, “Both were not BPL card holders before the BJP came to power.”
He further said, “The opposition are in fear of their dwindling political career and hence hurling baseless allegations. The parties which work on family dynasty mode are under constant fear. It is a struggle between the family dynastic and democratic rule. Those in favour of nationalism will support PM Modi.”
He said that there is some is some strategic planning by anti-social elements in the violence that is taking place in Manipur.
“Unnecessary politics is being done on the distribution of ration to the public,” said Ravi.
