Tulu drama 'Pudar Yancha Deevodu' to take centre stage in Oman on Sept 29

Muscat, Jun 22: In a bid to promote Tulu culture and heritage, Venture Entertainment (Oman) organised the Muhuruth for the Tulu suspense/emotional/comedy drama, 'Pudar Yancha Deevodu', penned by Mani Kotebagillu. The event took place on Monday, June 19, at Udupi Hotel, Ruwi.

The play is currently running successfully in Mangaluru.   

Renowned director Dayanand Palan, known for his previous works like 'Bhaiyya Mallige' in collaboration with Oman Tuluver, has been entrusted with directing the play in Oman.

Dayanand Palan, a key figure in supporting Tulu drama culture, has not only directed various dramas but also showcased his acting prowess. Some of his well-known productions include 'Viashkara Shikshana' and 'Aaru Tupilakka Athu', among others.

With his dedication to youth progression and the promotion of Tulu theatre, Dayanand Palan is set to captivate the Tulu theatre enthusiasts in Oman.

Expressing his excitement, Dayanand Palan said, "This is one of my plays that I have acted in or directed, and I am confident that Tulu theatre lovers in Oman will enjoy this show. We will put in a lot of effort to present a superior performance and enthrall the audience of Oman."

Dayanand Palan's love for theatre and his efforts to popularise Tulu theatre have always garnered appreciation from drama enthusiasts in Oman.

During the Muhurat, the entire team of 'Tudar Kalavider' graced the occasion, lighting the lamp and presenting the script by Mani Kotebagillu. Notably, Walter, a seasoned director of Konkani dramas, was also present, offering his encouragement and support to the team.

Venture Entertainment aims to showcase the best talent from Tulunadu and highlight the rich cultural heritage of Coastal Karnataka in Muscat. The team, consisting of Manoj, Shwetha, Suneel, Elson, and Madhuri, strongly advocates for Tulunadu culture and believes in giving back to society in various ways.
