Anurag Verma to be new Chief Secretary of Punjab


Chandigarh, Jun 26 (IANS): IAS officer Anurag Verma will be the new Chief Secretary of Punjab, succeeding V.K. Janjua, it was announced on Monday.

Verma, a 1993 batch officer, is currently serving as the state’s Home Secretary.

Janjua will superannuate on June 30.
